The tragic story began to unfold when Eric died of a fentanyl overdose after consuming a Moscow Mule prepared by Kouri at their home. As the investigation proceeded, it was discovered that Eric had shared his fears with friends, stating that if anything were to happen to him, Kouri would be responsible. Police say he believed she had attempted to kill him before.
