It was a shock for every Simone Biles fan early yesterday morning when the news came that she withdrew from the gymnastics team final on Tuesday. So many people we’re assuming injury … including a statement from USAG said the reason was a “medical issue” and did not elaborate. At a press conference following the event, Simone Biles confirmed there was no injury and that she felt her poor vault would jeopardize the team’s chances for gold.
“I’m OK, just super frustrated of how the night, but super proud of these girls and now we’re silver medalists. Something we’ll cherish forever. We hope America still loves us,” Simone added.
-UMMMMM of course we do. The literal GOAT of gymnastics and such a role model for so many. Team USA won silver after Simone withdrew Tuesday. Simone is still eligible to compete in the individual all-around, which takes place later this week.
To be honest- as the face of the “2020 Olympics” in the year 2021 is stressful enough. Simone is an absolute gem, biggest heart, biggest talent and the biggest GUTS to actually stand up and say its my mental health- and my teammates can do this, still cheering them on. It’s not easy to do. Its something NO ONE has done on a national stage before and for that (and obviously my crazy fan obsession) I thank Simone and send the best of wishes to her.

Michael A., a single dad to a 4-year-old son, James, and sadly, shared on the show his tragic story of losing his wife to cancer several years prior.
Though despite being a frontrunner in the competition, after his heartbreaking FaceTime call with his son, James, told his father, “I know what the problem is. Maybe Daddy left because he don’t want to see me,” Michael A. realized he had to do what’s best for his family.

The contestant was Patrick Pearce, a product specialist from Fountain View, California. With his amount of wrong answers dipping into double digits, he was climbing out of the hole most of the night before taking a major blow during a Daily Double. At negative $7,400, his score beat the former lowest score of negative $6,800.

Bill and Dan are set to return.
The film has been delayed a few times due to the pandemic and was originally supposed to hit theaters in July 2020. It is now set for release in November, 2021.
ALSO… the new “James Bond” Trailer! Daniel Craig will take his final turn as James Bond in “No Time to Die.” The film was originally set to hit theaters in April 2020, but the pandemic took care of that. It was then rescheduled … October 8th is now the release date.
