It has been a little more than a year into the VERZUZ battles, and this weekend we are going back to what got them started. ICYMI, in the midst of the pandemic, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland hopped on Instagram for a battle of the beats. This weekend Timbaland & Swizz Beatz will have their VERZUZ Rematch Live From Miami on Sunday at 8:00 pm Eastern. It will be streamed live on Instagram as well, along with Triller and the Fite APP.

I don’t know how many times we have to say this … but DO NOT under any circumstances leave your keys in your car at the gas station … or for AKON … leave your car running while pumping gas!!!
Akon’s Range Rover was stolen from an Atlanta QuikTrip gas station late Monday night. Police say that Akon was filling up and left the engine running. Someone hopped into the driver’s seat and drove off.
Akon was able to use the car’s tracking device to find the Range Rover. Authorities recovered the vehicle. At the moment we don’t know anything about who stole the Range Rover.
Atlanta police released the standard reminder for anyone leaving their car running: “Any time you stop your vehicle, and you leave your vehicle for just a split second, please turn your vehicle off and take your keys with you and secure your vehicle. We’re having far too many vehicles stolen because we are leaving our vehicles running.”

In a boss move after Drake received the Billboard Music Award for Artist of the Decade he rented out the New L.A. Stadium to have dinner on the football field’s 50-yard line. Drake wasn’t alone, invited some friends. VARIETY reports Drake had DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and SZA were there, along with family members.
The large screen in the stadium read, “Congratulations Drake! Artist of the Decade.”
E! News reports, “He rented the entire stadium for the night. There are huge champagne towers and several bars set up throughout the stadium. Drake also has cute album books featuring his favorite moments through his career set up around the stadium.”

Olivia Rodrigo has done it again, just scored her second No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, with her latest, “Good 4 U”.
“GOOD 4 U” is the follow up to “Drivers License,” which reigned for eight weeks with its debut in January. Her debut album Sour, just dropped Friday (May 21) and is due on next week’s Billboard 200 chart.
